On January 14 we had a very interesting presentation by Bob Aitken about how the brain works and functions when learning.
 

Bob Aitken is with the School of Instructor Education at Vancouver Community College. He teaches in the Provincial Instructor Diploma Program and the Diploma in Adult Education Program offered by Vancouver Community College. He has a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction. He is a doctoral candidate in Adult Education. He travels extensively working with faculty in schools and colleges, trainers in corporations, government and non-profit organizations.

Brain researchers tell us that 90% of what we know about the human brain has been discovered in the last 5 years. Recent brain research has important implications for all of us.
