Presentation at Rotary Club of Burnaby was by Green Teams Canada (GTC). Ms. Lyda Salatian, who incidentally is also the founder and President of GTC.

GTC is presently active in Victoria and Vancouver and is planning expansion to the East.

 

Lyda is inviting our club to participate with GTC on hands on projects to clean public spaces of weeds and intrusive plants and to revegetate spaces with trees and necessary vegetation. GTC is a growing organization involving young neighbourhood residents and families with exposure in news and social media. This in turn would give exposure to Rotary too wherever it participates with GTC.
