Orphans in Ukraine

Rotary Club of Burnaby and its friends will be hosting a Gala dinner to assist the Orphans in Ukraine.
The club will be partnering with the Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) a registered Canadian Charity (# 86775 7502 RR0001), to assist with the implementation of the fundraiser's objectives.
The funds raised are intended to go towards 3 orphanages run by the religious sisters of the Ukrainian Catholic Church.
The following projects have been identified for assistance:

Sisters of the Holy Family orphanage – located in Bibrka, Lviv region houses 9 children

Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate orphanage – located in Zolochiv, Lviv region houses 10 children

Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate - “Home of Hope” - a Safe house for 21 vulnerable teenage girls and young women located in Lviv city
The funds raised will be used for a variety of purposes including, recreational activities, computers, renovations of the orphanages, medical expenses and clothing.
