Author Bio: Anika McDonald is a Community Development Manager for Canadian Blood Services. Driven by patients’ needs, including several family members who needed blood and blood products, she takes pride in providing the education and tools necessary to procure blood donors. In addition to her goal of increasing the number of blood donors in our communities, Anika is committed to ensuring that new and returning blood donors make lifesaving donations a part of their routine. Note: Meeting is at the Christine Sinclair Complex in the multipurpose room.

Presentation Topic: A New Approach to Changing the World! Presenter (Aline Emery) Bio: Spreading empathy and compassion in the world is a value that needs love and attention. Alina has studied counselor training along with peace and conflict studies. Making self-development and community building her educational focus, she is excited to apply it into the real world with her community. As the fund development manager at Low Entropy, she aspires to create opportunities for change with her local communities, individuals and her team.
